How does so much shit keep happening all the time? I just cleaned the Winter Segment up the other month, and now there's a whole new bunch of monsters causing trouble? In the Autumn Segment, too! It never ends!

[Somehow, Hijikata can't manage to figure out where Oryou lives. But when he next runs into her, he makes her come to his home so he can give her the Unlimited Cookie Jar he got for her! He explains that it'll endlessly duplicate whatever kind of (dead, prepared, ready-to-eat) frog she puts inside, but warns her about the raisins. Hopefully those won't be a deal-breaker!]

Oryou receives some handmade flower necklaces and a bunch of frogs that Sisu managed to capture all by herself! The note says "Hey Oryou! I caught these for you. And the flowers are all edible too, if you wanna eat them! - Sisu"

[Necklaces are for wearing! Silly Sisu. The next time Oryou sees her, she's wearing one of the flower necklaces and tells her the frogs were delicious.]

[So Rider had been taken by surprise by receiving Christmas Presents- that's right, it was that time of year, wasn't it? So come Boxing Day when the shops are back open, she spent the morning shopping for return gifts!

Being a Servant, she can track down Oryou's mana signature fairly easily (thankfully, given she's not sure where she lives), and presents her with a warm, fluffy blanket- you know, just in case Oryou wants to hide from the cold as much as she does when the weather gets bad! She got the shop assistant to help her pick out one with dragon patterns on.]

[!! Warm!! Oryou immediately wraps it around herself and thanks Medusa for it. And tells her she can come over if she gets cold and Oryou will snuggle with her.]

[Christmas Eve was a day with romantic connotations, wasn't it? At least in Japan, where Caster had been summoned... So she'll go to check in on Oryou, with a container of various foods she's attempted- with mixed success- to make herself.

Just in case her ally was lonely and needed some company, given both of their partners were so far away.

She'll also bring a gift with her- a hand-carved figurine of a frog with a little whistle in it's mouth. Apparently, she's enchanted it so it can attract frogs and other small amphibians/reptiles to it if the whistle is blown. So, it can bring the food right to you! (Just don't eat the figurine, it's made of wood and not very tasty).]

[Oryou was one of the people Medea regularly went to pester- manifesting nearby out the blue to catch up and restore her touch energy. There was something of a routine, even if the pattern was not always apparent...!

[For Yuletide, the fairies deliver a big item to Oryou. It turns out to be a person-sized magical body pillow with arms to hug its owner back! Hijikata's card explains that she can use the added single-use spell to transfer the face of someone she likes onto it (the person keeps their face, for the record, it just gets copied - even a photo or drawing is enough!).]

[For Christmas, Oryou'll be receiving Medea's... usual attempts at cooking- she even tried to cook frog's legs this year, and her cooking has improved since last year!

She'll also get a couple of little frogs carved out of wood - she's enchanted them so that it'll apply some protective enchantments to anyone who enters a certain room if left either side of the entrance.]

[In truth, Medea had been worried about her... Oryou still seemed melancholy and dispirited, since her partner disappeared. This was definitely her fussing! She just hoped she could cheer her up a little.

[So Caster had been... intrigued when she'd read about the Consentacle quest a little while ago, and had finally gotten around to ordering one herself. It would take a few days to arrive, but that was fine, she could be patient.

She put the thought to the back of her mind- and had quite forgotten about it when she impulsively invited Oryou to live with her, seeing how lonely she had been.
